Jill Fothergill

Jill was born and raised in Oklahoma. She received a BA in Urban Ministry from Southern Nazarene University (SNU) in 2004. She met her husband, Gavin, while attending SNU and they were married in 2004. They have two kids, Macy and Connor. Jill is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene, receiving her ordination in 2010 on the South Texas District. Jill has served with Global Missions as the Youth In Mission Assistant, sending college age students on short-term mission trips around the world. She has been a Missionary along the United States and Mexico Border, as well as Central Africa. Before serving at Shawnee, she was the Children’s Pastor at Valleyview Church of the Nazarene in Amarillo, TX. Jill loves spending time with her husband and kids, traveling, leisure bike riding and Dr. Pepper. Fun Fact: Although Jill loves traveling and exploring new places, she dislikes flying.
